Assam Police has released an employment notification for the recruitment to the 35 Platoon Commander posts under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards, Govt. of Assam.
| 1 | Name of post:- | Platoon Commander |
| 2 | No of posts:- | 35 + 5 [Male: 29, Female: 11] |
| 3 | Pay:- | 14000- 49000 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Grade Pay Rs. 8700 |
| 4 | Age:- | Candidate should not be more than 38 years and less than 18 years of age as on 1st January 2020 (Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2002 and on or after 01-01-1982). |
| 5 | Relaxation:- | Upper age limit is relaxable by:-
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (H) and ST(P). (ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC. |
| 6 | Essential Qualification:- | The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University. |
| 7 | Other Qualification:- | NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards Training Certificate. |
| 8 | Application Fee:- | There will be no application fee. |
